![]() This page describes how to install and uninstall JDK 8 for OS X computers. I want to upgrade my JDK version but I didn't find on Oracle web site. I am using default JDK on my MacBook Pro which runs with 10.6.8. There you can select between the versions of Java you would like to use, including version 6 (6 is only 64-bit so if you have a 32-bit Core Duo Macbook you'll have to use SoyLatte). If you go to /Applications/Utilities you will see Java Preferences. ![]() ![]() ![]() The JDK is already installed on Mac OS X 10.5. ![]()
